Hemostatic therapies used in surgery can be categorized as pharmacological agents
and hemostatic agents. Those hemostatic agents may have some
tissue-glue properties. Below, a list of hemostatic agents / glues
which used in spine surgery.
Arista:
Arista (Arista™AH) is a synthetic hemostatic agent that includes an
absorbable hemostatic powder consisting of Microporous Polysaccharide
Hemospheres (MPH®).
Cryoseal: Thermogenesis Cryoseal is a human-derived autologous fibrin sealant.
